# MoonPier Tournament

## About Tournament

MoonPier tournament is where you can share your unique NFT collection ideas and compete for cash prizes! The top three ideas with the highest number of upvotes by the conclusion of the tournament will receive a total prize of 150 MATIC! To participate, all you have to do is **create an idea post** on MoonPier, **promote** it, and **accumulate upvotes** and presale pool. In this tutorial, we will guide you through the step-by-step process of participating in the MoonPier Tournament.

## How to participate

### 1. Go to the MoonPier App

Begin your creative journey by opening the [MoonPier](https://app.moonpier.xyz/) App. Locate the "+" (create collection) icon in the top-right corner and click it to start the process.<br>

### 2. Fill in the Collection Details

In this step, you'll need to provide the following information for your collection:

* **Title:** Choose a captivating title that best represents your collection.
* **Description:** Write a concise and engaging description of your collection.
* **Expected Total Amount:** Set the expected total amount of items in your collection.
* **Expected Price (in MATIC tokens):** Determine the anticipated price for each item in your collection. Note that MATIC is the native token of the Polygon blockchain.
* **Image:** Attach a captivating image that encapsulates the essence of your collection.

### 3. Connect your wallet

Before you can create your collection, you must connect your wallet to the MoonPier App. If you haven't already set up a wallet, refer to wallet [tutorial](https://www.coinbase.com/wallet/tutorials) for guidance.

Once your wallet is connected, you will need to sign the sign-in message from MoonPier.

### 4. Create the Collection

After filling in all the necessary details and connecting your wallet, click the "create" button again to finalize and launch your collection.

### 5. Hooray! 🎉

Congratulations! You have successfully created your collection on the MoonPier App.&#x20;

Click the "CHECK POST" button to view your collection and give it an UPVOTE. Share your collection with friends and encourage them to support your work with upvotes.

### 6. Check the Tournament Ranking

Stay informed about your collection's progress in the tournament by clicking the "TOURNAMENT" button at the top of the page. This will display the current rankings.
